Operator Selection and Utility
Siege operators are divided into attack and defense roles, each carrying unique gadgets that enable specific tactical approaches. Learning a small pool of operators whose utility you understand deeply produces better results than spreading across the full roster before mastering any.
Utility coordination within your team multiplies the effectiveness of individual gadgets. A single drone combined with a wall breach creates information and entry simultaneously. Knowing which operators complement each other and building team compositions around them is fundamental to structured Siege play. Additional game information on operator pairings and utility sequencing is available for tactical improvement.
Destruction and Map Control
Siege's destructible environment is not just a visual feature — it is a core tactical system. Soft and hard walls offer different destruction options, and knowing which to breach, reinforce, or leave neutral provides positional advantages that purely mechanical players miss.
Callout fluency — knowing the standard names for every room, window, and corridor on each map — is the baseline communication requirement for effective team play. This resource covers map callouts and destruction patterns for attack and defense on each map in the current pool.
